Paul Guiramand (1926-2008) was a French painter and theatre set designer known for his vibrant, expressive works. He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts, drawing influence from Brianchon, Picasso, and Matisse. While traveling in Spain and Italy, he held his first exhibition at Marlborough Fine Art in London. During this time, he resided primarily at the Villa Medici in Florence, alongside artists like Tilson, Francis Bacon, and Corpora. In 1954, Guiramand began creating lithographs with Charles Sorlier, a master printer at Mourlot’s Atelier. His works have been featured in prominent galleries and museums, including Galerie Taménaga in Osaka, Japan.
