The roseate spoonbill is a gregarious wading bird, it is a resident breeder in both South and North America. The roseate spoonbill's pink colour is diet-derived, like the American flamingo.This print pays tribute to the renowned and exquisitely hand-coloured Audubon illustrations from 1838, preserving the timeless beauty of this remarkable species. Prints of this style were originally printed in black and white and then hand-painted over the top to give them bright vibrant colours.

These antiques are remastered to restore damage, and bring back the original colours, then they are printed with archival grade methods to ensure the highest quality and prevent ageing.
