The American white pelican, a magnificent aquatic bird native to North America, gracefully migrates southward to coastal regions, extending its journey as far as Central and South America during the winter months. Our print pays tribute to the renowned and exquisitely hand-coloured Audubon illustration from 1838, preserving the timeless beauty of this remarkable species. Prints of this style were originally printed in black and white and then hand-painted over the top to give them bright vibrant colours.

These antiques are remastered to restore damage, and bring back the original colours, then they are printed with archival grade methods to ensure the highest quality and prevent ageing.
