Antique Folk Marriage Chest Iin Red & Blue with Wildflowers

This very good condition pine marriage trunk or chest boasts original neo-classical red and blue colours, good proportion, and delightful flower-painted panels with roses, carnations and forget-me-knots. With original feet, lock plate, and candle drawer it is clean to the interior. Top has nice wear and patina, sides retain paint. Southern Germany c.1853
