C.1847 Peacock Vintage Framed Print

Peacocks are large, colourful pheasants known for their iridescent tails; these tail feathers, or coverts boast colourful "eye" markings of blue, gold, red, and other hues as captured in this wonderful illustration. Bursting with bright colours and captivating details, this framed print is designed to infuse any room with an irresistible allure, celebrating the famous hand coloured historic prints from the 1800's. Prints of this style were originally printed in black and white and then hand-painted over the top to give them vibrant colours.

These antiques are remastered to restore damage, and bring back to their original condition, then they are printed with archival grade methods to ensure the highest quality and prevent ageing.
