Product Description
This beautiful 'mud cloth' design is inspired by the rich tradition of Malian Bogolanfini Fabric - dyed with boiled bark and adorned with fermented mud to produce deep terracotta tones.

We're in love with the overall design of the piece, from the rhythmic arrangement of dashes and dots, to the gorgeous hand-crafted 60 knot New Zealand Wool rug.

The wool background has been heavily abrashed, meaning that several close tones are woven together for a subtly striated effect.

Please know other colours and dimensions possible. We can colour match from fabric samples (we pop some tufts in the post so you can see if the colours are right and compliment your space), adjust the pattern to any scale, and fit the rug to your exact specifications. Once the design has been agreed, we will provide you with a digital impression that will give you a good indication of how your finished rug will look.
